| The underworld. |
- There are regions in the underworld, which are Tartarus (where the wicked were punished), Elysium (where the children of the gods and heroes went after they died) and the Asphodel Meadows (where everyone else went, the Hufflepuff of the afterlife).
- The saying "Taking the bull by the horns", comes from Greek mythology. It was one of the 12 labors of Hercules.

- Poseidon was defeated by Athena and she became the guardian of Athens.
- Hera restored her virginity each yearby bathing in Kanathos.
- Hades was an Olympian but not counted as one since he lived in the underworld and not on Mount Olympus.
- Pandora was the first mortal woman, she was created by Zeus.
